Dr Mariló Camacho Díaz began her academic career in the 1990s, graduating in English Language and Literature, and after a period away from the academic world to travel, she resumed her education with a master's degree in 2018 and a doctorate between 2020 and 2024. Since 2021, she has been working at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, where she teaches English for specific purposes to future pilots and air traffic controllers, helping them to master the technical vocabulary of the sector. She has co-edited a book on the role of women in flamenco and has published various articles, including studies on metaphor in contemporary songs and interculturality in language teaching through musical genres such as flamenco and country music, highlighting her interest in the relationship between language, music and education.
