Fernando D. Rubio Alcalá

Head of Language Policy at the Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation of the University of Huelva (Spain). His area of specialisation is language learning and his research focuses on two areas: affective language learning and multilingualism. He held a research fellowship at the University of Texas (Austin, 2005) and was a visiting professor at the University of Virginia (Wise, 2007, 2008, 2011). He was rated best teacher at the University of Huelva with the Teaching Excellence Award (2007), and has given more than a hundred lectures and workshops in Europe, North America, Central America and South America.
